questions you may have.
Sessions are calm, relaxing, and comfortable — most clients experience a gentle sense of clarity. You sit in a chair inside the 2-person chamber or recline inside the 1-person chamber.
Yes, soft-chamber hyperbaric therapy is considered safe for both adults and children when used as directed. There have been no reported accidents involving FDA-approved chambers, and we exclusively use and sell FDA-approved equipment.
The number varies depending on your wellness goals. Our team provides personalized recommendations.
Rentals are flexible for short-term use; ownership provides unlimited access at home. We will help you find the most cost-effective plan for you.
Yes, with proper supervision and guidance. We require the 2 person chamber and the child to be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the treatment.
That would depend on your condition and your insurance coverage. Healing with Hyperbarics does not file insurance claims. You would need to check with your insurance company for reimbursement before treatment or choose self-pay.
Yes, just as it is common for prescription drugs to be prescribed for uses other than what the FDA approved. this is the definition of off-label.
Yes, we like to focus on preventative care and overall health and wellness more than treating a particular condition. You will be evaluated for fitness in the initial consultation.
We do not treat anyone that is expecting.
No, because it is the pressure that plays the most critical role in the effective dosage of HBOT. An oxygen bar only delivers higher oxygen concentrations, not pressurized oxygen, Only HBOT can force significantly more oxygen into the blood plasma. The extra oxygen is dissolved in the blood plasma travels deeper into the body where blood flow and oxygen levels have been limited.
Though there are similarities between the two practices, there are also fundamental differences. No one procedure should replace the other, and the appropriateness should be thoroughly investigated before deciding which is best for you. We do not offer ozone treatment at this time.
m-HBOT provides the body with significant extra oxygen. More importantly, the extra oxygen is traveling in the body's plasma (the liquid portion of our blood) and can get into areas that most other oxygen molecules cannot. In saying that, there are certain times that higher doses are required (i.e., a life-threatening condition), and in this case, m-HBOT would not be appropriate.
This does not mean that it does not work. It means mild is more appropriate in some instances, and in other cases, high pressure 100 percent oxygen is more appropriate.
Mild hyperbaric chambers utilizing oxygen concentrators are considered safe for electronics and have been deployed in this manner for the last 20 years without incident. Electronics are not allowed inside the hyperbaric chamber pressurized with pure oxygen or that uses high-pressure oxygen cylinders.
Healing with Hyperbarics requires electronics to be in good working order, not damaged, and no issues with the battery. Any device with an expanding battery would not be permitted.
Everyone is different. Some see immediate benefits, and others may not notice any until completion of their series of hyperbaric sessions or even weeks after completion.
Yes. It is perfectly fine to simply take a nap. However, if you are doing a solo dive, make sure you have a timer or alarm set to wake you up at the end of the session.
